There are two types of diabetes that can occur in the human body. They are –

Type 1 – It is a state where the pancreas does not produce insulin for the body. These are important as they allow the body to get its energy from the food. Therefore, Type 1 diabetes is termed to be an autoimmune disease. There is no cause related to it with the lifestyle or diet of a person. This type of diabetes can occur at any age, though its signs appear during childhood.
